The Waldorf in London is an icon. Established in 1908, it has become a destination for lavish events and social occasions. Our couple, Kiran and Farzan, who are very much in the wedding industry being the owners of Amarante London, chose this awesome wedding venue in London. They had a full day wedding, with a late morning wedding ceremony, and a standout evening reception. Check out more phots below!

Wedding at the Palm Court WALDORF

Kiran started getting ready in one of beautiful suites at the Waldorf. Surrounding by her girls, it was a super chilled vibe. Once she was set, we managed to get a look at the stunning setup in the Palm Court - if you haven't seen the Palm Court it is a grand, glass-roofed ballroom with palm trees and gorgeous details. It was the backdrop for scenes in the Titanic! The team at Amarante had adorned the Palm Court with florals, florals and more florals. It was grand, it was lavish, and it was a photographers dream. The emotional ceremony concluded with drinks and canapes, before the guests changed for the evening reception.

Wedding Reception at the Waldorf London

The Adelphi suite is the Waldorf's second beautiful ballroom. A huge, regal space, it has plenty of space for up to 380 of your evening guests. Kiran and Farzan had chosen a red rose boudoir vibe. It was dark, moody and candlelit. The colours were a stark contrast to the mornings pastel floral set up in the Palm Court. With drinks and food flowing, the speeches were hilarious and emotional, and the dancing was epic.

As a wedding photographer in London, it is easy to be inundated with amazing venues and gorgeous weddings. The Waldorf was pretty special. With its historic connections, the sense of high society gatherings and weddings, it was the perfect backdrop for this wedding. The venue is perfect for weddings - it is in Holborn in Central London and only a few minutes walk from the Central Line station. With 298 suites available to your guests (should you need them!) it is perfect place to stay over after a late finish. Its also down the road from Covent Garden and Leicester Square which are both awesome places for portraits should the couple feel adventurous enough to brave the London streets!
