The Manor Elstree Wedding Photography

Meera and Keval chose the stunning Manor Elstree for their Hindu Wedding and Reception in London. It's a beautiful retreat in Hertfordshire with stunning grounds. The Manor dates back to the 16th Century! With beautiful spaces for a wedding ceremony, it provided the best backdrop for me to photograph the couples big day.

THE WEDDING CEREMONY

The day started off with Meera getting ready in one of beautiful bedrooms at the Manor. We managed to get some beautiful wedding portraits of Meera before Keval's jaan arrival. Luckily, the venue has an amazingly long drive which provided the perfect backdrop to the grooms arrival. Keval chose an awesome vintage Mercedes, with his friends holding the flares. It was an epic jaan! The ceremony was emotional to say the least and performed by the legend that is Kamal Pandey with music by Shiv Gopal. After completing the rituals, we stole the couple away for a portrait session - The Manor Elstree has beautiful grounds for wedding portraits!

WEDDING PORTRAITS AT THE MANOR ELSTREE

We wanted to keep the wedding portraits natural and unposed - Keval and Meera took a walk in the grounds, and we just chatted and snapped away. Its the best way to get those natural wedding portraits! The Manor has a range of backdrops for your portraits, from the 12 acres of grounds, to countless, timeless rooms in the Manor itself. We absolutely loved the wood panelled rooms inside the house, and a great backup for wedding portraits should it rain!

THE MANOR ELSTREE WEDDING RECEPTION

Next a quick turnaround for the couple, ready for their evening wedding reception. The Manor Elstree provided a stunning backdrop for the party. The pastel, floral decor by Gayatri Weddings was beautiful. With the wedding cake cut and champagne flowing, it was time to tuck into the awesome food by the masters of indian wedding catering - Shimla!

Although we missed sunset, we managed to steal Keval and Meera away for a quick evening portrait session. Again it was nice for the couple to have a few minutes to themselves whilst we shot away.

The Manor Elstree is perfect for Indian weddings - a great location for your wedding no matter how grand or intimate, and only 30 minutes from London. With plenty of luxurious bedrooms for your guests to stay over, you can party the night away and not worry about a cab home! We loved shooting a wedding at the Manor Elstree and we can't wait to be back!
