Hylands House Wedding Photography

Hylands House in Chelmsford is a beautiful Grade II* wedding venue in the heart of Essex. We have captured a few weddings here now, and its still one of our favourite venues. Set in a huge 574 acre park, Hylands provides a beautiful backdrop for any wedding, and being an exclusive use venue, all of our couples can enjoy their day without worry about interruption from other events!

Nikkah Ceremony at Hylands House

Amal and Saif chose Hylands for their Nikkah ceremony and wedding reception. Surrounded by their friends and family, the regal venue provided the perfect location. The couple wanted a natural look to their wedding photos, with an editorial hint. The Nikkah is a short ceremony, and we then managed to get some time with the couple for some romantic editorial-inspired portraits, inside the House.

A Fun Wedding at Hylands House

Our second wedding at Hylands was with Saumya and Sean. These two were an absolute laugh. It was honestly one of our best weddings to shoot - such a fun group of friends and family who made the most of the day from beginning to end. Choosing one of the grand inside rooms at the venue, Sean and Saumya said their vows in front of their guests, followed by the all important confetti throw in the grounds of Hylands. The couple were up for a fun portrait session - its always nice being able to tailor our style to the couple. And we were also lucky to get a beautiful sunset in the evening!

Hylands House is a a great wedding venue - it is so convenient to get to from London and Essex, with plenty of parking for guests. As we said, it is an exclusive use wedding venue. Catering is provided by a large number of recommended suppliers so whatever your tastes, it can be catered for at Hylands. The regal venue also provides a range of options for ceremonies including the grand indoor room, to the light and airy marquee which is also perfect for evening receptions. The architecture just screams romance and with its royal connections, Hylands is definitely up there with our favourite venues!
